With that being said, players can add any extra class skills they want. The rest of the classes being: Metamorphs, the Ranger, Shadowblades, Wayfarers, Witches, and Wizards to name a few.As stated before, Divinity: Original Sin II has a very fluid class system. Those are just eight out of the 37 classes that are in the game. They do have to depend on others to heal them and can be vulnerable if they are caught out of position. They are similar to Battlemages in that they are a combination of close-range combat and elemental damage.Įighth is the Rogue Class, which relies heavily on stealth to be able to do the most damage to an enemy. Even though this does not leave characters in this class with a lot of options in terms of defense, they can still be able to provide more targets as a distraction. Conjurers are dependent on summoning in order to be able to inflict the most damage. Unlike the Fighter class, the Knights can do more damage at a closer range than they can, and they should always be at the center of the action for a bigger impact on the enemies. Enchanters channel spells that directly affect the enemies and the battlefield.įourth, is the Fighter class, in which the essence of their skills can have them function as tanks in the game.įifth is the Knights class. This class also makes use of magic when it comes to inflicting some damage to opponents. Other than healing powers, the Cleric can also inflict some damage to opponents with their Necromancer skills. Having a Cleric on the team can also prove to be advantageous as well. The Cleric is skilled in healing magic, which can be advantageous when engaging in battles in the game. The Battlemage does not have a specific specialization, which makes it great for those who want to be rather flexible in their skills. Once the character is created then comes the decision of picking the right starter class.Īs told by GameSpot, there are a lot of starter classes for players to choose from. Players can also make little adjustments should they choose a readily available character as well. Yet before that, players will have to choose whether to go through the game as a pre-made character or create their own through customizations. Since that will become the basis of all the choices that players will be making as they go through a game full of 70 or more quests, and filled with a lot more choices than before. The game is full of choices, but picking a good class and race for a player's chosen or created character is important. Luckily, it all boils down to picking a good class.
